Erin is serving as a Research and Data Intern this summer. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2024 with a B.S. in Biology and is now a rising third-year Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy.
Passionate about evidence-based care and health equity, Erin is dedicated to understanding and addressing the factors that influence health outcomes. During a clinical pharmacy rotation in the Charlotte area, she witnessed firsthand how social disparities can affect individuals’ ability to access and manage both their physical and mental health. This experience inspired her to give back to the community and contribute to efforts that promote equitable access to mental health care.
As a Research and Data intern, Erin hopes to apply her research and analytical skills to help Mind the Gap better understand the needs of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg community and identify evidence-based strategies that support youth mental health and well-being.
