LET’S ROCK TOGETHER
We Rock Charlotte is a non-profit, chapter of girls rock camp alliance! We aplify the voices of gender marginalized youth and adults through music and film. We Rock Charlotte offers Children, youth and adults one on one instruction, clubs, workshops, group classes, concerts, events (event space rental) and camps! Our free year-round clubs, workshops, band-building programs and open mics keep us connected and making radical change! Our free Amplify Workshops keep us rockin’ and reelin’ year round. We bring in teaching artists and WRC Volunteers to facilitate discussions and activities centering around music, film, art and social justice. We are an inclusive, nurturing, creative space that empowers all voices through music and arts in order to create a more just and equitable society. We are champions of equity and inclusion on stage, behind the camera and in our community. We Rock Charlotte is an LGBTQ+ safe space and serves all genders, ages and allies.
We Rock Band, Voices, and Symphony build confidence in performers and prepare middle to high schoolers to headline on Festival in the Park’s We Rock Youth Stage!
